The Alfabloc® is an ‘A’ shape, interconnecting freestanding precast concrete wall system, offering a flexible solution for your bulk storage needs. It can be loaded on one or both sides, and because it can be used without fixings, bay sizes can be altered in a matter of minutes.
Requiring only a structurally solid base to sit on, the precast concrete wall units can be used in a variety of applications. Units come in eight sizes from 1.2m to 6.0m and can weigh up to 5.2 tonnes.
The Alfabloc®’s patented jointed mechanism aids in the spread of the load horizontally against the units. It is designed to be freestanding for the majority of uses, but can also be ground fixed for higher loading applications.

The L-Bloc® is the only prestressed interlocking L shape retaining wall on the market offering an ideal solution for the storage of soils, aggregates, silage, grain and many other bulk materials.
Standard wall units are produced up to 3.65m in height, (weight 2.2 tonnes), but greater heights of up to 6m can be supplied depending on loading conditions and use. All units are designed to accommodate loading from either side of the wall if required.
Designed in accordance with BS8110 (Parts 1&2) ‘L’ blocs above 2.4m have a prestressed concrete stem. This offers the advantage of a much lighter unit than a conventionally reinforced ‘L’ shaped wall, with the added benefits of reduced transport and installation costs.
Experience has shown the units can withstand significant misuse by mechanical plant used to move retained material. However, as with any relatively thin walled concrete structure, they will suffer damage with persistent and negligent striking by mechanical plant.

GeoRoc is a Mechanically Stabilised Earth wall system that is designed at a panel height of 300mm high to ensure maximum efficiency within the construction process. GeoRoc’s dimensions also allow for a more lightweight, health and safety compliant system.
The 665mm x 300mm high C50 concrete panel creates a strong, robust unit catering for required surcharge loading it is typically designed for a surcharge load of 10kPa.This can be reviewed and increased with site-specific design works which are undertaken by Retaining UK.
These benefits allow GeoRoc to offer a suitable aesthetically pleasing solution in urban environments. 300mm high panels ensure optimal spacing for GeoGrid requirements of maximum distance 600mm.

GeoWall is a precast concrete slab, cast in a decorative mould featuring a timber effect finish, with an expected life expectancy of up to 100 years. This particular system is capable of retaining up to a height of one meter finished ground level to the top of wall.
With optional colour schemes, the GeoWall earth retaining system is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, capturing in the design the natural effect of solid timber yet maintaining the long-life expectancy of concrete.

The Taperbloc XL is a freestanding precast concrete retaining wall, a heavier and more cost efficient alternative to the Alfabloc®. Designed for grain walling, waste separation and bulk storage. The Taperbloc™ XL can be double loaded and is easily manoeuvred with the cast-in forklift tine holes.
This means that no specific lifting attachments are required and it can be installed without the need to be ground fixed.
The freestanding retaining wall system is quick and easy to install and reconfigure and can be loaded on both sides for maximum storage capacity, with steel corner sections available to provide a continuous and gap-free wall.
Precast solutions to the agricultural, waste & recycling, security and utilities industries. // Ultra-low carbon concrete available // Save significant time and budget at the installation stage on-site // We also offer a complete installation package // Produced in a factory-controlled environment to ensure the products are of the highest standards //

Poundfield’s unique Shuttabloc™ precast concrete retaining wall system with internal reinforcing system has been designed to provide a faster, more economical alternative to casting in situ.
The hollow cores of the precast concrete units are pumped full of concrete once in place resulting in a solid push wall and can be designed and manufactured in a variety of heights (from 3m to 6m tall) and lengths tailored to suit your needs.
No on-site formwork, faster installation and a factory controlled finish results in a product that is flexible, cost-effective and designed to exactly the same properties as an in situ wall.
We can also supply a range of accessories to be used in conjunction with your wall to maximise its uses: Corner units to achieve a gap-free wall, T-junctions to create bays, and end covers to seal the wall units and finish off the ends.

The Betaloc® is Poundfield Precast’s concrete brick style of interlocking building blocks, which provides a highly flexible construction system.
Our standard Betaloc unit is 800 x 800 x 1,600 mm long, made of solid precast concrete and weighs approximately 2.4 tonnes. With 2 lifting points the units are quick and easy to install, thanks to the stacking design of the units provided by an interlocking system. We also produce a half unit allowing for a flush finish to your walling, if required, which is 800mm in length.
We recommend a maximum height of 3-4 bricks dependent on use.

The Alfastop® is the quick and easy alternative to using traditional site hoarding or fencing. Designed to work with a standard Heras fence, these instant barriers can be used for temporary fencing around work zones, hazardous areas and for traffic control.
Each Alfastop unit is 3.45 metres long and are available in two heights, 300mm and 600mm high.
The Alfastop® has been tried and tested over many years of constant use and can withstand significant impact as well as withstanding extreme weather conditions.

We are able to make prestressed concrete panels in made-to-measure lengths from 1m up to 6.5m long, and in a range of thicknesses from 100mm – 250mm depending on the loadings required.
Designed in accordance with BS 8110, the concrete panels have an interlocking tongue and groove design on the horizontal edges. This allows for fast installation and provides a secure joint. When fitted to steel columns the concrete panels offer a durable and functional walling system and when using sealant the end result is a clean, tidy and weatherproof finish.
